Doctors are trying to figure out what exactly works for hemorrhoid patients and whether they have enough fluid in their body to get through the day without experiencing any complications.

How much hemorrhoids care?

The Mayo Clinic says that a healthy adult needs about 12 ounces of liquid to get to the right stage of hemorrhoid development.

A person in the first stages of bleeding will need to weigh about 20 pounds to get there.

But if you’re hemorrhoid-prone and have been treated for other conditions, such as asthma or diabetes, you can expect to need more fluid.

And if you can’t get enough fluid, a hospital-based doctor may recommend dialysis to clear out your fluid.
